Time to celebrate, public transportation fans. It’s Transit Month, and BART is doing it up big.
In collaboration with San Francisco Transit Riders + Seamless Bay Area, the transit agency is hosting a contest with prizes and themed regional events all around the Bay Area.
In the South Bay, look forward to:
- SJSU Transit Ride-Along | Wednesday, Sept. 27 | 4-7 p.m. | Enjoy transit trivia, raffles, lunch, and a tour from Veggielution.
- San Jose Transit Happy Hour: Transit Stops Drunk Driving | Thursday, Sept. 28 | 5:30-7:30 p.m. | Join transit advocates for an open discussion + drink from a no-host bar.
- Full Moon Hike in Celebration of Transit Month | Saturday, Sept. 29 | 6:15-7:45 p.m. | Take a one-mile hike up Spreckels Hill.
