Cinnabar Hills Golf Club, 23600 McKean Rd. | This 27-hole course was ranked the 18th Best California Golf Course in 2022 by Golf Advisor and offers six possible 18-hole combinations.
San Jose Municipal Golf Course, 1560 Oakland Rd. | San Jose’s first municipal course was built in 1968 as a standard par-72 course, and is for players of all levels.
Santa Teresa Golf Club, 260 Bernal Rd. | This par-71, 6,742-yard course is walk-on and challenges golfers with fast greens + strategically-placed hazards. The club also offers junior programs for every skill level.
Los Lagos Golf Course, 2995 Tuers Rd. | This picturesque par-68, 18-hole course is suited for more experienced golfers with tiered and slanted greens, as well as a few challenging long-distance holes.
Rancho Del Pueblo Golf Course, 1649 Hermocilla Way | This course’s short distances are perfect for beginners. Rancho has served the East SJ community since opening in 2000 and is known to host low-cost programs to introduce disadvantaged children to the sport.
Pruneridge Golf Club, 400 N. Saratoga Ave., Santa Clara | Play a quick nine-hole game, perfect your swing and target practice at the double deck driving range, or join in on a game of foot golf.
Sunken Gardens Golf Course, 1010 S. Wolfe Rd., Sunnyvale | This walkable nine-hole course offers a good variety of challenges suited for beginner to intermediate golfers — there’s also a small driving range to get you started.
Sunnyvale Golf Course, 605 Macara Ave., Sunnyvale | With wide open fairways and fast greens, this 18-hole course is perfect for golfers at all skill levels.
Deep Cliff Golf Club, 10700 Clubhouse Ln., Cupertino | Established in 1961, this par-80, 18-hole course sits among the Cupertino foothills with flat terrain + tiered greens — and offers classes and beginner programs.
Spring Valley Golf Course, 3441 Calaveras Rd., Milpitas | Enjoy an 18-hole, 6,140-yard course with doglegs, sand bunkers, and stunning par 3s. Practice your swing at the 29-stall driving range.
The Golf Club at Moffett Field, 934 Macon Rd., Mountain View | Sitting right next to Hanger 1 and the airfield, this unique par-72 course offers 6,572 yards of maintained Kikuyu grass fairways and roughs.
Coyote Creek Golf Club, 1 Coyote Creek Golf Dr., Morgan Hill | Try the popular 18-hole, 7,000-yard course that has seen it all — two PGA Tour Champions, a “Best of Silicon Valley” award in 2015, and 4.5 stars from Golf Digest.
