HISTORY
Marsh Road’s morbid movie moment
Urban legends and ghost stories from San Jose, CA
This local road carries a tragic, dark history. | Screenshot via Google Maps
For years, locals have reported paranormal activity on Marsh Road above Milpitas— claiming that they’ve seen a ghostly girl + heard unaccounted-for screams.
But is it true? It might be.
In 1981, a 14-year-old Milpitas student named Marcy Renee Conrad was murdered and left on the side of Marsh Road by her 16-year-old boyfriend.
Editor’s pick: By now, you should all know that I’m a big foodie. But unfortunately, I haven’t had much time to explore other cuisines like Cuban, Jamaican, Spanish, etc. Since money’s a little tight (as we saw in today’s story), I want to try my hand at making a dish. Let me know of any local grocery markets that have a wide range of international ingredients.
