In Santa Clara County, there are over 10,000 individuals who experience homelessness — and about 6,700 are in San Jose. We’d all like to make a difference in our communities, but might not know how to get started.

So today, we’re providing you with some local organizations dedicated to helping those experiencing homelessness in San Jose. 🤝

🍴 Food kitchens

These organizations accept volunteers to help prepare and serve meals, as well as monetary donations.

📦 Donation stations

Sacred Heart Community Service, 1381 S. First St.

  • Accepts: Food + clothing
  • Hours: Mon.-Thurs. (8 a.m.-4 p.m.), Saturday (9 a.m.-12 p.m.)
