Cat lovers — this story is purr-fect for you.

A recent article at Fodor’s Travel highlighted some resident cats at bookstores around the country, and some familiar furry faces caught our eye...

Emma, a black cat, is sitting on a cat play structure next to a bookshelf; and Ender, a grey cat is sitting on the ground.

Meet Emma + Ender — the six-year-old, sibling duo that calls Recycle Bookstore home.

You’re likely to spot Emma following customers as they browse — perching on chairs, tables + laps alike.

Ender is a bit more shy, preferring to get his head scratches from staff. You’re likely to see him behind the front counter or napping in boxes.

Go see these fabulous felines in-person at 1066 The Alameda, 11 a.m.-8 p.m. daily.
