We know small businesses are the heart of our community, so earlier this year, we asked local small businesses to tell us about themselves. They delivered.

We’ve been shining the spotlight on a few of SJ’s small businesses this month, and today it’s Empire Seven Studios’ turn. This contemporary fine art gallery — also known as E7S — is located at 525 N. 7th St., Ste. 10 and aims to create a safe space for creatives.

A: Empire Seven Studios (E7S), is a new contemporary fine art gallery and creative studio located just outside the Japantown neighborhood of San Jose, California. E7S has been advocating for local/global artists by creating opportunities and providing a safe space for creatives.

Q: What’s unique about the small business scene in San Jose?
A: E7S has enhanced the San Jose art scene by bringing life to the city through public art installations, innovative pop-up shows, and gallery exhibits to elevate and highlight emerging talents on a grand scale.
