When it comes to San Jose’s shopping scene, we love a good treasure hunt — and a good bargain. Our city is home to several stellar flea markets, cool co-ops, fabulous vintage shops, and resale gems. So get in, we’re going shopping.

Flea markets

Berryessa Flea Market , 1590 Berryessa Rd.
Known as “La Pulga” to many residents, this flea market has been around since 1960. It’s host to 6,000+ vendors every week and is a social and cultural hub to locals for affordable goods. It’s also home to many independent events from Pop-Up San Jose and Culture Night Market.

Capitol Flea Market , 3630 Hillcap Ave.
Drawing nearly 1.3 million visitors a year, this swap meet takes place at the West Wind Drive-In site. It boasts fresh produce that is up to 40% less than what you’d buy at grocery stores + admission is less than $1 most days.

De Anza Flea Market , Parking Lot B, 21250 Stevens Creek Blvd., Cupertino
Started 50 years ago, this market is run by the De Anza Student Government and garners ~$300,000 annually for a variety of student programs. Hosted every first Saturday of the month, feel free to browse from a little over 800 vendor stalls.

Co-op markets

MOMENT DTSJ , 60 N. San Pedro St.
San Jose Made launched its local micro-retail storefronts in 2018 which promotes four local small businesses for varying durations. The current tenants include pup-friendly charcuterie vendor Woofboard, houseplant store Plantslut, and custom keycap maker Tiny Keyboard Shop.

MOMENT JTown , 208 Jackson St.
With the success of its downtown flagship, SJ Made expanded to Japantown — bringing four micro-retailers into the spotlight on the corner of Jackson + North Fifth Street. Look forward to holiday shopping as this MOMENT storefront hosts festive activations.

Vintage + antique shops

Montebello Road , 2045 S. Bascom Ave., Campbell
Stop on in to browse a broad range of curated vintage wares including antique + industrial decor and home goods. Follow its Instagram page for updates on new items and mass sale events.

Moon Zooom , 1630 W. San Carlos St.
Celebrating almost 35 years of business, this hidden gem organizes clothes by decade, with fashions ranging from Victorian to the 90s. This is our go-to spot for costume and theme party looks.

Three Sisters , 1393 Lincoln Ave.
This vintage boutique has tons of charm — from mid-century modern glassware and odd holiday ornaments, to quirky dishes and neat vases. The store is also known for selling local Willow Glen honey.

Antiques Colony , 1881 W. San Carlos St.
This store specializes in mid-century and atomic retro clothes + decor, but they’re perhaps most known for their star mannequin — Manuela . Pro tip: Visit their sister website for more high-end mid-century pieces.

Hammer & Lewis Clothiers , two locations
Not only does this men’s clothing store specialize in custom suits, Panama hats, and Pendleton items, but you can also find vintage costumes and clothing from every decade.

Burbank Antiques , 1893 W. San Carlos St.
Enjoy high quality furniture, art, kitchen + glassware, and jewelry for a fair price at this shop located on “Antique Row ” in West San Jose.

Retail + consignment shops

Classic Loot , 570 N. Sixth St.
The cute jewelry + accessories at this spot are perfect for the Gen Z fashionista, or anyone wanting some early-00s inspired, street-chic looks.

Not Too Shabby , 481 S. Bascom Ave.

Neu2u Thrift Boutique , 436 E. Santa Clara St., Ste. 1913
As well as offering reasonably priced designer items and clothes, this shop also offers a “Dress for Success” cost-free program for those re-entering the workforce and needing interview attire.

Consider this your go-to for high-end modern, designer, and vintage clothing that are trendy + happening. The consignment store will ship clothes seen on its Instagram , and you can follow for new drops.
