Quality Time

  • If you like to express affection through a display of your undivided attention, we recommend a picnic atop Sierra Vista Point, to take in great — and thanks to the raingreen views of the South Bay. Or, direct your attention to the screen, at West Wind Drive-In.

Words of Affirmation

  • If you are someone that loves verbal or written compliments expressing appreciation, stop by the Poetry Center for open mic nights + take notes, or, literally write a Love Letter 2 San Jose.

Receiving Gifts

  • If you think of gifts as symbolic of love and affection, you’re in luck. There’s no shortage when it comes to shopping in San Jose. Buy from local small businesses at SJ Made’s MOMENT shops or visit one of SJ Makers’ fairs or Pop-Up SJ’s markets.

Acts of Service

  • If the way you express your love is by doing helpful things for others, we suggest a volunteering date to satisfy that giving heart. For some self-love, do your mind + body a service by getting your blood pumping.
