• More brand changes are coming for SJC. Along with its new name “San Jose Mineta International Airport,” it will also adopt the slogan: “Fly Simple.” The new logo shows the wings of a plane in hues of orange that represent both the City of San Jose’s flag, and our warm climate. ✈️ (Silicon Valley Business Journal)

• Oakmont of Silver Creek, a senior citizen facility in East San Jose, was recently bought by a Chicago-based real estate firm for $50.8 million.
