• Following an extended soft opening, the Goodtime Bar will celebrate its official grand opening this Saturday, April 29, from noon to midnight. Enjoy natural wine selections and live DJ sets at 30 Fountain Alley, Ste. 160.
• Sacramento-based pizzeria Pizza Guys has opened its fourth San Jose location at 7062 Santa Teresa Blvd. This marks the brand’s 26th location in the Bay Area. (Restaurant News Release)

• A new Native American and Indigenous Student Success Center will open at the Spartan Memorial Chapel on SJSU’s campus this fall. San Jose State will be the ninth California State University to designate a campus space for its Native American and Indigenous students. (SJSU News)

• The San Jose State football team is hosting a raffle for a group home game experience package for up to 20 fans. All you have to do? Drink beer — er, we mean, purchase a Brewfest/Spring Game ticket before Friday, May 5, 11:59 p.m., for a chance to win. The winner will be contacted on Monday, April 8.

• A 3.2-acre site in the Alviso District has been obtained by Sol San Jose Owner, a Seoul-based real estate entity. The group acquired a $26.4 million loan that was held for a firm proposing a 200-room hotel project at 7 TopGolf Dr. in 2019. No further development plans have been announced. (The Mercury News)
