Development
Costco may specialize in bulk, but West San Jose residents say a proposed Costco Warehouse at 5287 Prospect Rd. would be too bulky for their neighborhood. Locals are concerned about traffic safety and the Costco crowds. The proposal goes to the City Council on Tuesday, Oct. 22. (San Jose Spotlight)
State

Real Estate
According to Redfin, a typical San Jose homebuyer stands to save $2,000+ on their monthly payments due to the Federal Reserve’s interest rate cut — the biggest drop of any US metro. Granted, median monthly mortgage payments in SJ are still sky high: $9,398 as of Sept. 15.
