Silicon Valley Pride has kicked off its week of celebrations leading up to the Pride night festival on Sat., Aug. 27 from 6-11 p.m. + the parade on Sun., Aug. 28 from 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m. 🏳️🌈
Tickets are $5 for this weekend’s events, but we’ve gathered some free events to get you ready for the ultimate rainbow bash.

- Drag Queen Cooking Showdown | Tues., Aug. 23 | 6-8 p.m. | The Plex | It’s a battle of skill-ets as these drag queens showcase their culinary talents. 🍳
- Hey Girl! Black & Pink Pride Dance Party | Wed., Aug. 24 | 6-9 p.m. | Holiday Inn San Jose Silicon Valley | Hit the dance floor with music by DJ Danny G. 🎧
- Pride Flag Raising + Rainbow Lighting Ceremony | Thurs., Aug. 25 | 5-6:30 p.m. | San Jose City Hall | Watch our city commemorate pride.
- 5th Annual Pride in the Penthouse | Thurs., Aug. 25 | 6-9 p.m. | Silicon Valley Capital Club | Mix + mingle over beverages and bites at this social event. 🍸
- Out at the Park | Fri., Aug. 26 | 6-10 p.m. | Excite Ballpark | Bring your blankets and pillows for a showing of “Burlesque.” 🎥
- SV Pride Mixer | Sat., Aug. 27 | 5:30 p.m. | Nirvana Soul | Join the party with GOOD VBZ and dance to music from DJ LEXAPEEL. 🎶
