City Editor Alyson here. Y’all know I love astrology — almost as much as I love San Jose. Last time, we saw which zodiac signs pair best with different San Jose bars. Today, we’re seeing which iconic SJ sights and landmarks resonate with each of the zodiac signs.
♊ Gemini (May 21-June 21): Santana Row
Nothing says playful and bubbly like Santana Row’s lively atmosphere — perfect for a Gemini, the extroverts of the zodiac. With a mix of upscale restaurants, unique bars, and fun shops, there’s no doubt your sign would thrive in this social hub.
♋ Cancer (June 22-July 22): Peralta Adobe House
You stick to your roots, dear Cancer, much like how this historic home stakes its claim at San Pedro Square. As the last remaining structure from El Pueblo de San José de Guadalupe, it stands as a reminder of our community’s dedication to preserving history in all of its forms.
♌ Leo (July 23-August 22): Winchester Mystery House
The confident, charismatic Leo demands center stage, much like this larger-than-life mansion that draws your eye on Winchester Boulevard. And just like the quirkiness of all the mysterious twists + turns, endless doors, and staircases — you’re an out-of-the-box character.
♍ Virgo (August 23-September 22): SJSU’s Historic Tower Hall
Your sign’s attention to detail and ability to keep a routine serves as a rock to many other zodiac signs, like how San Jose State’s Tower Hall is to its campus. Standing tall since 1910, the Tower has kept students in check and hustling to class with its loud bells (even though they’re speakers now, it still counts).
♎ Libra (September 23-October 23): Happy Hollow Park & Zoo
Our city’s zoo aims to create harmony and balance with wildlife, much like how your sign does in everyday life. With Happy Hollow’s protective preservation measures + playful atmosphere for all ages, it does a great balancing act to keep both its animals and visitors happy.
♏ Scorpio (October 24-November 21): San Jose City Hall
There’s mystery + intrigue surrounding Scorpios, and much like with the city hall rotunda — many could ask “What’s going on in there?” However, like your sign, it doesn’t take too much to learn what’s happening on the inside, as San Jose’s civic activity is always open to the public and you, dear Scorpio, always have a story to share.
♐ Sagittarius (November 22-December 21): SAP Center
Thrill seeking with absolute optimism, your sign would find its happy place at the ultimate sports + entertainment venue that is the SAP Center. Not only can you catch the San Jose Sharks and the Bay Area Panthers there, but also big headliners and even a US Gymnastics Championship (that’s coming up).
♑ Capricorn (December 22-January 19): Diridon Station
Your sign is on the move 365 days a year — like San Jose’s major transit hub that hustles trains, buses, and cars to where they need to go. Capricorns are fans of tradition, and stepping into the 1930s-era train depot will have your heart. However, its new development plan may fill your hardworking heart even more.
♒ Aquarius (January 20-February 18): Plaza de Cesar Chavez
As the humanitarians and visionaries of the zodiac, your sign will find its perfect sense of community in Plaza de Cesar Chavez. Not only is it the major hub for all of the great 408’s large events, but it’s named after a man whose goal was to make the world a better place — just like you.

The Municipal Rose Garden is the perfect backdrop for a picnic date.

♓ Pisces (February 19-March 20): Municipal Rose Garden
Sweet, sentimental, and an expert in daydreaming — your sign would absolutely love being in the atmosphere of the Municipal Rose Garden. Spark your creative side by joining other San Joseans who take up their hobbies in the park, like painting, photography, or simply, picnicking. It’s the dreamiest of backdrops.
♈ Aries (March 21-April 19): Excite Ballpark
It’s in the name — and you, dear Aries, definitely excite. There’s no shortage of bold plays and bright fireworks at this baseball stadium. Get fired up for the San Jose Giants next match against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes on Tuesday, June 13 — and don’t forget to wear the bright colors that suit you.
♉ Taurus (April 20-May 20): PayPal Park
As a lover of shiny and new, you’ll find yourself in awe of one of San Jose’s newest stadiums, which also boasts the largest outdoor bar in North America. But, we can’t ignore the hardworking and dependable nature you bring, just like the San Jose Quakes have for 25+ years.
