Winchester Mystery House announces 100-year anniversary events

Celebrate the famous Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA, as it celebrates 100 years since opening its doors to tours on June 30, 1923.

The Winchester Mystery House is a local + state historic landmark that attracts tourists from around the world.

This is a special year for the Winchester Mystery House, as 2023 marks 100 years since its doors opened to the public.

The city will soon pay tribute to the iconic house that has driven more than 12 million guests to the must-see attraction in the great 408.

The anniversary festivities will kick off on Friday, June 30, and include:

  • A proclamation of Winchester Mystery House Day from city officials
  • The entombment of a time capsule containing current souvenirs + memorabilia
  • Live Roaring ‘20s music from Symphony San Jose
  • A new exhibit about the mansion’s influence on pop culture

Additionally, magician Aiden Sinclair will host two interactive shows on Friday, June 30 and Saturday, July 1, and a Centennial Brunch will be held on Sunday, July 2, at the greenhouse patio.
