From Sunday, Nov. 20 to Sunday, Dec. 18, the San Jose Earthquakes will host FIFA World Cup watch parties at The Old Wagon Saloon & Grill and O’Flaherty’s Irish Pub .
Expect almost a month of festivities — with matches streaming at 5 a.m. and onwards at The Old Wagon and 7 a.m. onwards at O’Flaherty’s.
For Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 25-27) and the World Cup final (Sunday, Dec. 18), bring the whole family for a soccer street festival with huge outdoor screens on St. John + San Pedro Streets.
Some can’t-miss match-ups include:
- US vs. England (Friday, Nov. 25, 11 a.m.)
- Argentina vs. Mexico (Saturday, Nov. 26, 11 a.m.)
- Spain vs. Germany (Sunday, Nov. 27, 11 a.m.)
So far, 8,000 San Joseans have RSVP’ed for the first week of watch parties — are you going ?
