What’s a sweeter activity than cherry-picking in the summer?

Though spring came later this year due to the extended season of winter storms, there are some farms + orchards in the South Bay that will be opening up this month for cherry-picking.

While you may have to drive a bit further south, we assure you that these locations will have a bountiful harvest.

🍒 Lazy K Ranch , 3465 Susie Ln., Gilroy

  • Open Tuesdays-Fridays, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and weekends, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Cost: Free admission + $6.25 per lb
  • Features: picnic lawn + farm animals

🍒 U-Pick Orchards , three Gilroy locations + two Morgan Hill locations

  • Open everyday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Cost: Free admission + $6.25 per lb

🍒 Gilroy U-Pick , 10541 Korn Ln., Gilroy

  • Open everyday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m., 1-5 p.m.
  • Cost: $3 entrance fee + $3 per lb of cherries
